THEATRE HUMAIN seeks to explore what it means to be human. Through our work in the theatre, we wish to stimulate a meaningful dialogue about the human condition: our strengths and weaknesses, our failures and successes, our deep-rooted tendency to destroy and our infinite capacity to create.
In March 2015, the world premiere of our play, NORGE, was presented at the Grand Théâtre de Québec in a coproduction with the Théâtre du Trident. Since then, the production has been presented at Espace Go in Montreal and many other theatres in the province of Quebec. We have been deeply touched by our meetings with the audiences in all of these theatres, and it is with much enthusiasm that we continue our tour. In April 2018, we will make our first steps abroad, presenting NORGE in three national theatres in France : la Comète in Châlons-en-Champagne, la Manufacture in Nancy and at the LUX in Valence.
We are also currently working on our next original project, A DESCRIPTION OF THE WORLD, a fusion of the story of the infamous traveler and adventurer, Marco Polo, as well as an exploration of the father-son relationship and the meetings between different cultures. To be continued!
On this site, you will find information about our company and our plays, NORGE… and soon A DESCRIPTION OF THE WORLD. If you have any questions, please contact us. Thank you for your interest in our work.
